MINDSPIRE | VISION 2026–2030
Where lived experience shapes recovery, wellbeing, and social change.
Why do we have a 2026–2030 Vision?
Mindspire exists to empower individuals and communities through lived experience, insight, and evidence-informed recovery practices. In a rapidly changing world, mental health challenges are rising in scale and complexity. Every organisation has a role in shaping resilient, inclusive, and sustainable support systems. By committing to this vision, Mindspire aims to maximise its positive social, environmental, and economic impact while ensuring long-term sustainability for the communities we serve.
The challenge we face
Mental health recovery is not just a personal journey; it intersects with social inequity, environmental stressors, and systemic barriers. With increasing digital engagement, rising environmental pressures, and evolving societal expectations, Mindspire recognises the need to innovate responsibly, ensure transparency, and remain accountable. From 2026 to 2030, our mission is to deliver recovery-focused solutions that are accessible, regenerative, and sustainable for individuals, society, and the planet.
Our commitment
Building on insights from our lived experience network and operational learning since our founding, Mindspire commits to measurable impact in three key areas:
- Empowering lived experience: Amplifying voices, providing tools, and developing programs that translate personal recovery into scalable community benefit.
- Operational sustainability: Reducing organisational carbon footprint, prioritising digital-first engagement, and ensuring ethical, transparent practices across all operations.
- Global regenerative impact: Partnering with local and global initiatives to restore community wellbeing, nurture environmental resilience, and support mental health ecosystems that thrive long-term.
Our approach: the four pillars
a) Avoid: Minimise negative impact where possible. For Mindspire, this includes remote-first operations, low-emission digital infrastructure, and reducing unnecessary travel for events or meetings.
b) Reduce: Continuously refine operations to decrease resource use and emissions while increasing the efficiency of program delivery. For example, prioritising virtual workshops, optimising digital platforms for lower energy use, and sourcing ethical and sustainable materials.
c) Restore: Support initiatives that regenerate community and environmental resilience. This includes restorative mental health programs, partnerships with social enterprises, and funding projects that strengthen natural and social ecosystems.
d) Compensate: Where impacts cannot be avoided, we offset responsibly. This includes verified nature-based and technological interventions to reduce our environmental footprint, while ensuring measurable benefits to social wellbeing.
Tracking impact and accountability
Mindspire will measure progress against clear metrics across people, planet, and operational sustainability. Key indicators include reach of recovery programs, carbon intensity of operations, and effectiveness of community partnerships. Annual reporting will be transparent, reflecting successes, setbacks, and learnings.
Looking ahead: 2026–2030
Mindspire’s vision is ambitious yet achievable: to become a globally recognised catalyst for recovery and wellbeing, guided by lived experience and committed to sustainability. By 2030, we aim to:
- Expand global access to evidence-informed recovery programs.
- Reduce organisational environmental impact per employee by 50% relative to 2025.
- Build a regenerative ecosystem linking communities, digital platforms, and environmental stewardship.
Join the movement
Recovery is stronger together. Mindspire invites individuals, partners, and communities to contribute, learn, and engage as we move toward a resilient, sustainable, and inclusive 2030.
